I am a writer and physician-scientist based in Calgary, Canada.
My research and scientific writing is centred around strategies to improve health care delivery, and the role of nutrition in preventing chronic disease. My specific area of focus is bone health and osteoporosis. You can find a list of my publications (as EO Billington) here.
I also have an insatiable appetite for making things up and writing them down: a hobby best kept separate from my day job. To this end, I finished writing (and revising) my first novel in 2021, with a second on the way.
When not working or writing, you’ll find me running along the river while listening to an audiobook, riding bikes to a brewery with my husband, or trying to recreate recipes I found on Pinterest, often with horrifying results.
